Unleashed, the romantic, high-stakes sequel to New York Times bestselling author Sophie Jordan's Uninvited, is perfect for fans of James Patterson's Confessions of a Murder Suspect.
Davy has spent the last few months trying to come to terms with the fact that she tested positive for the kill gene HTS (also known as Homicidal Tendency Syndrome). She swore she would not let it change her, and that her DNA did not define her . . . but then she killed a man.
Now on the run, Davy must decide whether she'll be ruled by the kill gene or if she'll follow her heart and fight for her right to live free. But with her own potential for violence lying right beneath the surface, Davy doesn't even know if she can trust herself.
My Review: Davy is still having trouble with the fact that she killed someone. In one way it proves what her DNA says but in another way, she did it to save Seth. So she feels like a killer, but is she really? Plus after doing that she feels different toward him, but things seem to get a little better as they get ready to travel over the border.
When they started to make their way across to Mexico, they were seen on the river and had to diver underwater and swim their way to the shore of Mexico. However Davy got shot and wakes up on the shore. Only she is still in the states and well is getting help from a strange guy and takes her to this camp.
All I can say is WOW! Davy is different in this book, and well I still love her. Its not a big change, but after that guy she killed she changed. When she found out what the camp she's at really is, she couldn't really believe it. The entire book was just amazing. As most of you know I love Sophie's writing and all her books!
