Ted Spencer, one of the graduated students of a magic school, begins to work in the British Museum in London. Ted feels a little bit sad about the work, as it won't promise anything interesting, just drabness. One day, however, a famous wizard died, and she had bequeathed all of her books and papers to the museum. One of the books was the mysterious tome, The Portal of Time. Using the book, Ted goes into the past to find magic artifacts
My Review: So I'm torn with this book. I liked it, but it had too many aspects that made me put the book down a few times. I overall idea was good. The character Ted, was okay. I did like Ted when it came to getting things done. Ted just found the Portal of Time and just happens to jump into the past.
All I can say is that you should give the book a try. Maybe you'll get into better than I did. Just be ready for grammar issues.
