My Review: So.......I'm pretty torn at reviewing this. I'm not sure if I like it or not. Strange huh?
Well the book started off slower than I would have liked and I would have liked a bit more detail. You just spend the first few pages about Holly going off about her husband Charlie and him having a lot to be sorry for now a days. Then bam! Its two years and Charlie is gone in a tragic accident! What?! I didn't mind her having a dream about him, that part was written nicely and it made me think that those two are doing just fine now and then you find out its a dream and he is gone. I would have liked to know how it all happened right away.
Because right after, you have Holly making a delivery to this beautiful home and she had to be there on the dot. You get a feeling she is going to meet someone and then that person will end up coming back into the story and they will have some sort of loving romance between them. So, Holly does end up having a quick chat with Ciaran and he ends up showing up at her shop after the weekend. He is this gorgeous guy and any girl would just swoon for him. He could be this really nice guy or turn out to be a player. Lucky for Holly he ends up being pretty decent. I like that he has his own struggles and that he is dealing with it. It made him more likable and seem like just a decent guy.
So thats pretty much where I'll end it. As the story went on, I couldn't really stay glued to the pages and pretty much had to make myself try just a few more chapters. Overall the idea was good, and it would have turned out better for me if there was some more detail and added some more life to the characters. I'm hoping to get back to this book at some point and maybe I'll like it then or just end up not finishing again.
