Sixteen-year-old Sarah Kelly never expected to meet the Devil’s daughter. She only sought innocent dancing in the moonlight, not a coven entranced by their dark priestess. When her friends partake of a powder meant to conjure spirits - and the results go horribly awry - Sarah is forced to make a choice. To keep their secret risks her own damnation, but to condemn them may invoke the accusing remnants of Salem to rise again.

My Review: You hear Salem and think oh hey the witch crafts! But its a lot more than that! Perfectly detailed and with new elements brought it, to make you rethink what you knew and with some fun added in.

So Sarah and Hecate. Hecate is a soul who wants Sarah and in the mean time, Sarah is off learning about everything she can, like the truth behind the trials and just what Hecate really is. No biggie there....well except for that part where things go wrong and evil is up and around her.

Sarah isn't alone in this. She has some good people to help protect her and her family and hopefully they can help Sarah to get rid of this evil. Like Priest, who know just what Hecate can do and seems more protective because of that, but I liked just how much he cared.

As the book goes on and you are sucked into this world, you won't stop until you have read the last page. So yes, I may have let some house work undone.....but books are always worth it. There was twists in turn at the perfect moments and just drove up the reason for staying glued to the story. I like that whats in the past, stays in the past. Its a good thing to go and live by, though Sarah wasn't too thrilled with is all being around her and learning just who may the problem. Even though it's what helps give her more of a reason to fight it all and win.

Then the ending.....oh idk how to not spoil it. But it was amazing! I love witchy things in a book and I've always know about the trails in Salem and with some evil thrown in, it just gave me one heck of a read. I super loved it and really want there to be another book!
