My Review: Shadow Falls has ended, but I'm so HAPPY that Shadow Falls:After Dark was created!!! It's like I never left the word, more like I took a vacation until Reborn was ready. In Reborn its all about our Sassy Vampire Della! Do you remember all the crazy she dealt with when it came to Steve? Yeah well, he is in this book and then another guy shows up as well.....Let's say Della just can't outrun crazy when it comes to guys.
So Della is at her parents place. She has a dream and suddenly has this giant pimple on her neck. So then she learns of an uncle, who may or may not be like her. So obviously Della is going to look into this and hopefully it can be good news for her. After getting caught in her dads desk, Della goes home early.
The fun doesnt stop there! Della sniffs out a familar scent and leads to this vampire Chase, now he and Steve will be driving Della crazy. Though I'm sure you will love and laugh at these guys.
Want some more good news?! Kylie and Miranda appear and the three of them are acting like nothing has changed, well beside Della coming back early and spilling all that happened. So what shall this vamp do? Maybe relax on her first night back? Ha! When are any of these girls really relaxing? Della's stroll leads to meeting up with Steve, which isn't a first late night meeting. A crazy vamp goes by the camp and Della goes with Burnette to check out the situation. Della really wants another mission with the FRU, will this night prove she has what it takes? Well, if I know Della, it's to never underestimate her!
Shall I go on? Of course I will, I've got lots of juicy things to say about Reborn and all those in it, but I'll try not to spoil so much of the book (holding back is so hard).
So after a rough night, lack of sleep Della is cranky. Derek comes by with news, Steve was in her room, and she smelled Chase. Damn this vamp is everywhere! Then the best part of it all was when Kylie told Della of a visitor that she really isn't fond of. To add to this crazy, the campmate hour was crazy. Lots of blood donation for Della's time and one of them is Chris, yes my lovies another guy! Steve isn't around, so maybe Chris is also after Della, or maybe just wants company? These guys all going for Della? Well for someone who thinks she doesn't make many friends, suddenly has a few more. Does it stop there? Well.....not even close, but I'll let you read about her crazy day.
You know what would make Della happy? Kicking some butt, and boy she will, she just loves kicking butt. If Della existed, don't give her ducktape, don't mention ghosts, cause she will deal with more than one, don't leave her out because she is a girl, and a whole bunch of things that you'll read about what not to mention. Just remember Della is one heck of a vamp who should not be messed with (:
If you have followed Della and the girls through ShadowFalls, then you will fall in love with Reborn. Its like you never left and get to love Della a little bit more and wish ShadowFalls was a real place cause its just awesome. I loved the book from page one and I wouldn't put this book down for anything. I could picture everything going on and wanting to help Della and cried when the last page was read. I can't wait for Eternal to be in my hands and hope these books never end. Its one of those series you will always remember!
