My Review: I'm back with another one of Jocelyn's books! This is book one, but you can read these books in any order you want.
You get a a future feel with these books, which I love. You can feel that what's going on is just modern life to them. Plus it was easy to read and you can come up with lots of images and different ways you would want things to go.
So let me swoon a bit here. This book was sexy and had such a great story. Here we have the Earth and Moon going on. So Ava's dad has died. Her new guardian has decided to send her off to the Moon. I don't think Ava got much choice in the matter, so naturally she is going to hate being on the Moon. Okay now she is on the Moon at Lunar 6 and the Elite Colony. Yup, not something Ava wanted, but is there much she can do? Of course there is! What girl can't turn things into something else? If you are going to be stuck there, it might as well be with a hot guy. It doesn't take long for Ava to find that hot guy she needs.
Nic's turn! Steamy hot guy here, and would you guess that he has a pretty awesome personality. Even with his own issues, he comes out amazing and overcomes things like you wouldn't believe. One thing is that he hates being Elite. Okay, understandable. Lot's of people out there have a title that they hate. Either because of tradition, standards, or just plain family. Nic has standards he doesn't like living by. He goes out with a lot girls that are nothing more to him. Trust me, it has nothing to do with his real personality. Get past the girl thing and you will love him!
Okay, so Nic and Ava have found each other. They are together and have such passion, chemistry and heart, that it will give you FEEEEELS! You know that kind that tugs at you to read on and hope it's all perfect at the end. Which Ava and Nic really want. Society just can't find out about them. They don't mix because of the title thing. So what's the worst thing that could really happen? Banishment? Can be together, but will have low titles? Society rips them apart from each other? Okay maybe that is bad, but that's what makes me hate about societies! It's not very different from today's world. With having titles, or different races, or body types. Society always says one thing and that is the end of it. The best part about all this, is that it makes for a really good book! If you get me yelling at it, just because I want these characters together, you know that your job is done right.
