My Review: LOVE! This was a great book, with only one left to go in the series.
So here we are starting right where the last book left off. Neferet died, but then a whole bunch of spiders came together and she was formed again. She went through one of the twins ans that forced her to reject the change and die. So Erin is dead, leaving Shaunee alone and making one angry Dallas.
Dallas wants revenge, though he helped make Erin a bitch at the end. Erin was considering coming back and all that, but she ended up dying. Dallas blames Zoey and her circle and will have revenge on them all.
For more crazy news, the mayor is killed! The police come and will investigate, and want to believe it was someone at the HON. Neferet did it, but if you remember earlier in the books, she gave an act. Made everyone like her, when she was truly evil and just wants the world to pay. So Aphrodite's dad is gone, and her mother disowns her. Let's add to the shit storm, with a vision coming up later that night. It was about Zoey and her anger.
Zoey's anger goes through the roof at one point and causes some great shit. Two guys, annoying the shit of a pissed Priestess, is a bad idea. Zoey loses it and kills those two guys and leads to the police showing up at the HON and taking Zoey.
I was really angry at that part! Why couldn't they make that part longer? Throw in more detail or some attitude!
For some enjoyment, our lovely white bull got drunk! Oh what a funny drunk he was! Get this, Stark helped him and they got along! Who would have thought that he would finally get along with him? Just because Heath is in the body as well and is Zoey's old boyfriend, shouldn't make things harder . Eh, who am I kidding, it's always going to be messy, but makes for some great reading!
I am already on the count down for the next and final book!
