Their love could destroy them all.

Through the ages, Marked Ones have harnessed the powers of the four elements: Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. Much about the elements is shrouded in mystery, but one thing is certain: A relationship between two Marked Ones has the potential to cause widespread devastation.

Megan and Adam—Air and Water—are determined to defy the risks.

But the power that swirls inside Megan is growing in twisted ways. And the closer she is to Adam, the closer Megan comes to unleashing a dark force that could spell destruction for the entire Marked line.

My Review: AH!!! I have been dying for this book to come out forever. I read Carrie of the Mark as a random read. I never expected to love it so much, so when I did, I had to figure out if there was more to this. When I noticed there was a book two, I was excited and mad that I had to wait so long. So finally the book came out and I was able to get it. I read this whole book in one sitting!

So Megan and Adam are still together and trying to to make things work, with what limits that they have. They soon learn that Megan's power is growing and taking more control. Whenever they kiss, Megan somehow takes Adam's elements energy and nearly knocks him out every time. Now its fast kisses and making sure to give Adam his energy back before he blacks out. When Fionn finds this out, well you know how Fionn can be.

In the meantime the group is working with their elements and preparing for the solstice in June.

.............
Jumping ahead, the group meet this new girl Chloe. She seems innocent enough, thought Adam is not convinced. Like take it easy, the whole world isn't going after you. Megan is the only one defending her, though she is in for a surprise.  Eventually they begin to question Chloe and who she really is and why she is there. One night during a shopping trip, Megan nearly gets robbed, but Chloe stepped in with some ninja moves. THEN Megan and Aine start to really think about who Chloe is. Eventually you find out she really a Knight, and why that is a bad thing. Rhys also really really REALLY hates to find out she is a Knight. You'll read why he gets emotionally about that.

What you also have is Petra, the girlfriend of Megan's dad. I can't very well say what I think about her yet. In the first book it was short about her. In this book we read about her appearing more. When she vouches for Megan, I'm not very sure what to think. Is she trying to hard? Does she have something up her sleeve? Do I like/Hate her? She is one of those characters that I need to keep reading until I figure out my thoughts on her. I'm still wondering even after I found out who she really is. I think that in the next book we will be trusting her more. Even if your not sure what your thoughts are about her.

OMG the very ending of the book was AMAZING I felt for these characters and just wanted to keep reading more. The ending is emotional and full of danger. Until the very end where Megan says "the line ends with me" Ahhhh such a good ending. I NEED THE NEXT BOOK LIKE YESTERDAY. I though there would be at least one more chapter after it, but no! It had to go like that.

One more thing...people die in the end. But I won't say who.

Leigh is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine. After the first book, it stuck with me so much that I can never forget the author to it. I love love her writing. I can't wait to read more of it.
