My Review: This is book two in the series and takes off right where book one ended. So lets see here, the Faerie queen told Noli and V not to see each other. Well in this book you can see that their relationship has changed. It has grown to a new level, which I like. These two people are pretty darn cool.
So Noli leaves the realm and heads back to the mortal world. There she jumps on an airship, that her brother is on. The only bad thing about this, is that Noli's life and the ones she loves may just end. You see her brother has a faerie huntsman on board. They learn about an artifact that the Earth King wants. This one item alone could mean serious trouble, for her and everyone.
In another place, V and his brother are on a mission given by their mother, the queen. They might just be looking for the same thing...Back to Noli, you'll find that she is having a hard time. Maybe its from being away from V, or that she is changing, or that she has to share her mind with a spirit. I'd rather have her miss V, then to go through the changing and definitely wouldn't like to share a brain with anything.
Ughh I really really hate books that mess up the love between people. Books just can't seem to leave people alone. They must always have parts where they are alone, or being told not to be with that person. The worst is having someone tell you not to be with that person. Like, really? Some shouldn't have a say.
Though I will say, positive things can come with this. Not with every case, but in this book there is some good effects to this. These two people are getting to learn to be on their own, have their life and become a stronger person. Now in some books that can't do that because, they just aren't written well enough.
So this book has a lot to fall for. Whatever reaction you got for book one, it won't compare to book two. You will fall into the pages until the very last word.
