Jacinda was
supposed to bond with Cassian, the "prince" of their pride. But she
resisted long before she fell in love with Will—a human and, worse, a hunter.
When she ran away with Will, it ended in disaster, with Cassian's sister,
Miram, captured. Weighed down by guilt, Jacinda knows she must rescue her to
set things right. Yet to do so she will have to venture deep into the heart of
enemy territory.
The only way Jacinda can reach Miram is by posing as a prisoner herself, though once she assumes that disguise, things quickly spiral out of her control. As she learns more about her captors, she realizes that even if Will and Cassian can carry out their part of the plan, there's no guarantee they'll all make it out alive. But what Jacinda never could have foreseen is that escaping would be only the beginning....
Loyalties are tested and sacrifices made in the explosive conclusion to Sophie Jordan's Firelight trilogy.

My Review: Okay so this is one of my favorite series, and I'm sad to see
it end. Any who, the book starts off with Will, Jacinda, Cassian, and Tamara,
all getting ready to start their plan. Will quickly gets Jacinda in the back of
the van and drives off to the hunters lair. He arrives and hands Jacinda over
to them. Once inside Jacinda is thrown into a room with other draki. Each one
is put behind a glass wall. She then spots Miriam, it takes some time, but she
eventually talks to Jacinda. Now she will spend one day before the others break
in to free everyone. However just that one day, brings hell to Jacinda. She is
thrown into a situation, with a draki she has never seen before. After that,
she is taken from her cell to a new room, where they place a metal device
into her. Before that can happen, the siren is going off, indicating that there
is a break in. Will free's Jacinda, Tamara sets a fog, to make everyone
sleep, and Cassian is there to help to. They manage to free everyone, however
everyone but Cassian makes it out. Now all they can do is drive off and hope,
but that hope fades when Jacinda can't feel Cassian anymore. They come to a
stop at a forest, and Jacinda and Will talk. Since they left Jacinda is sad
about Cassian, but worries about how Will feels about this. But don't worry
they are just fine. Now for some good news, Cassian is still alive! It turned
out he was drugged by the mist they set off in the building. But once he came,
he and the grey draki escaped and found them in the forest. So now we find that
the grey draki isn't so bad, and tags along with them. They all pile up in the van
and are on the move again. After some time the van picks up the pace and is
moving like crazy. Once at a stop Will goes to the back and tell them that he
lost the hunters. So they come up with a plan to split and meet up. That
doesn't go so well though. They are all hiding in the trees and watching the
hunters talk to Will. Jacinda notices a device and figure out it can track
draki, the one who have been implanted. So Jacinda changes the plan, and after
some fire and wind blowing they jump back into the van and make it to the truck
stop. This is where Will and Jacinda go their way, and the others go on their
own. But it doesn't happen, Jacinda want's revenge. So they go through the
forest and hide in a secret cave that Cassian has as his own escape place. They
hide there until Cassian gets back from the pride. So things go bad after some
hours. Corbin finds them. Takes Jacinda back to the pride, but she gets away
before theu reach the pride. She heads back to thecave to warn the others, only
to find that Miriam is gone. They search and find her by the river with her
aunt, who just kills her. Everyone is shocked by this. Jacinda tells Will to go
back to the car, but she goes after him, when Tamara tells her she can take
care of things. So Jacinda is looking for Will, but instead runs into Will's
family. Things now turn quickly. The hunters believe she is still Will's
girlfriend, and nothing else. Then Will shows up, and the hunters find Miriam's
body. Then Cassian comes in, and kills one of the hunters, thinking that he
killed his sisters. The Corbin comes in and grabs Jacinda into the air, but not
before Corbin is shot within seconds. Jacinda is back on the ground and even
though she hates Corbin, she can't see a hunter just kill him. So Jacinda shows
off her true self. Things get crazy and soon they calm down. Everything then
turns into an amazing ending, to an amazing series.
