When Logan Langly backed out of getting the Mark and went on the run, no one thought he could survive on his own. Without the Mark, you can't buy food, bot to the doctor, or use a tablet-you aren't even a citizen.
But when he discovers that his sister is being held in a mysterious hidden prison named Acheron, Logan risks everything to travel through and underground network of the Markless to rescue her.
Logan arrives only to find that Acheron holds more secrets than anyone could have guessed and that all his careful planning is worthless against a government that will do anything to gain absolute control. It seems there is only one place to turn.
But can a banned book with whisper-this pages and warnings about the real meaning of the Mark really hold the Answer?

My Review: Logan and his friends on the run from the government, trying to rally the Marked but especially the Markless and save his sister who is locked up in prison. Within a chapter you can change character nearly 10 times. There are also alot of supporting characters in this book that dont get to speak much. This also means I liked these characters enough to know more about them. Logan didn't  stand out much, but Erin, Hailey, and  Logan's Grandma were really good. I really likeErin, and  how she's trying to figure out where her loyalties lie. Hailey, and Erin are like on opposite sides, yet there are scenes that still show how similar they are. And Logan's Grandma, way cool for a spunky older character. From all the people who stick their necks out and help Logan and his friends on their journey, to the Markless it's almost inspirational. However the ending was dull. This book had its up and downs so for me. I wrote down the parts that I liked and wanted to share. If it wasn't for the few good parts of the book, I would not have finished the book at all.
