In the blink of an eye everything changes. Seventeen year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall what happened afterwards, watching her own damaged body being taken from the wreck. Little by little she struggles to put together the pieces- to figure out what she has lost, what she has left, and the very difficult choice she must make. Heartwrenchingly beautiful, Mia's story will stay with you for a long, long time.
My Review: Mia and her family stay home one winter day. Mia is a part of a musical family. Her parents were big musicians and now do things on the side while Mia is a major violin player. Mia is amazingly talented that gets accepted to Julliard. Besides music, Mia also loves her boyfriend Adam, they are just perfect for each other. In the book Mia and her family decided to take a trip to her grandparents, while on the way they get into a major car accident that kills them all except for Mia. Mia now lives at the hospital in a comma, with little possibility of waking up or healing from her injuries. As the book goes on Mia does begin to heal and with Adam by her side she is able to wake up at the end of the book.
