Clarity “Clare” Fern sees things. Things no one else can see. Things like stolen kisses and long-buried secrets. All she has to do is touch a certain object, and the visions come to her. It’s a gift.
And a curse.
When a teenage girl is found murdered, Clare’s ex-boyfriend wants her to help solve the case—but Clare is still furious at the cheating jerk. Then Clare’s brother—who has supernatural gifts of his own—becomes the prime suspect, and Clare can no longer look away. Teaming up with Gabriel, the smoldering son of the new detective, Clare must venture into the depths of fear, revenge, and lust in order to track the killer. But will her sight fail her just when she needs it most?
My Review: The summer could not get much worse for Clarity, her boyfriend Justin, betrayed her by cheating on her with the Tiffany. One drunken moment and everything they had together was shattered, with no hope of ever fixing it. Now she's spend the summer alone. No one wanted to be friends with the so-called the town freak. She comes from a family of psychics, her brother Perry doen't get teased like she does, because of his looks. Just one touch could bring on a vision. It’s how she found out about Justin and Tiffany. Having these gifts makes it hard for her to get guys to like her, she is not ugly, its just hard to be with a person who will accept her the way she is. Though in the book she is paired with this kid to help out a case of a tourist who was killed/ Eventually this new boy ends up liking her just the way she is and Clarity may just feel the same way.
