Thanks to its unique combination of human and vampire residents, Morganville, Texas, is a small college town with big-time problems. When student Claire Danvers gets the chance to experience life on the outside, she takes it. But Morganville isn’t the only town with vampire trouble...

Claire never thought she’d leave Morganville, but when she gets accepted into the graduate program at MIT, she can’t pass up the opportunity. Saying good-bye to her friends is bittersweet, especially since things are still raw and unsettled between Claire and her boyfriend, Shane.

Her new life at MIT is scary and exciting, but Morganville is never really far from Claire’s mind. Enrolled in a special advanced study program with Professor Irene Anderson, a former Morganville native, Claire is able to work on her machine, which is designed to cancel the mental abilities of vampires.

But when she begins testing her machine on live subjects, things quickly spiral out of control, and Claire starts to wonder whether leaving Morganville was the last mistake she’ll ever make.

My Review:
Perfection. Brilliant. Beyond this World. What more can I say?! This book had the most suspenseful, and heart grabbing ending ever! Okay, this is maybe my favorite book of the series. Even though I love each book!

I gobbled this book up in a day and half! The beginning was great, and then we got near the end where the fights were going on and it will make you read faster than light! I kept reading and didn't even notice how fast I was at the end.

Claire is still the same. Smart, Geeky, has Shane and a great group of friends. Now it is time for she to say goodbye for now. Today, Claire is leaving Morganville and going to Boston for MIT.  Saying bye to Eve, Michael, Shane, and even Myrinn. Her parents are taking her to the airport and watching her go. So far the hardest part is leaving Shane. Things are still shaky between them, from the last book. At least she won't be alone, her BFF Liz is going to be her roomie in an apartment she got instead of a dorm.

Liz is now "Hot" dressed to impress, which is not how Claire last saw Liz. Liz is a good character, though she annoyed me at points. Plus she was rude to Claire at parts. Plus the new place isn't as nice as the Glass house.  Claire then goes on a tour of the school and it wan't so fun, so then Claire just goes. The next day she goes to see the Scientist she was assigned to. Dr. Irene seems great at first until the ending, she is a BITCH. Ugh I was so freaking pissed and she lied to Claire in a major way!

How is she evil? Well first Myrinn leaves Mrganville and Micheal and Eve are sent after him. They all end up arriving at Petes house. (You will learn of Pete) Micheal has a stake in his hart, but a very bad kind. Needing two vampires to get the stake out so he wouldn't die. Shane and Claire had to be there to hide out, because of Liz being abducted and the cops after them. They didn't expect them to show up there. Though now that everyone is there, they can figure out their next move. VALD has gone missing, they have to find and save Liz and get the hell back to Morganville.

They figure out where Liz is and they go to save her. There, they find her stalker to be dead and save Liz, but have to get out now. They soon get trapped and need to get a new  way before the people swarm in and shoot them. They get out and VLAD has appeared! It's in the hands of an asshole professor who had a one night stand with Liz. They all had escaped, except for Jesse, she got caught by VALD and they took her. So now they are on a new mission. Get Jesse and get  VALD back.

Right now you have the usual group. You will meet Pete, Jesse a wicked cool and old vampire, and Oliver is back. So with them and the crew they go off and things go batshit crazy! VALD is used on the vamps, Dr. Irene shows up and apparently is working with Daylighters (anti vamp group) Claire comes up with a plan. Pretend to help get rid of the vamps and make her friends go with the plan, without them knowing. So when Irene trusts Claire to work on VALD, Claire tricks the switch so it wouldn't hurt the vamps. Once Claire shots all of them, she smashes VALD and they must all get out of there now.

Once the fight is done and the vamps "take care" of the situation, the farm land they are on is set on fire to erase any trace of them. From there, they make their way back to Morganville. After some day and night driving, with some hotel stops for naps and showers they finally make it to Morganville. Shane and Claire have gotten better and Eve and Micheal are by her side and all are happy again. Until Hanna drives up in her cruiser with others behind her.....That is when the world went upside down

This book was so freaking amazing! The ending was surprising and I am so glad that I had the last book right next to me so I can dive right in! There is only one book left to go before I have to say bye to this world. These books are amazing and one of the best series in the world

While developing a new system to maintain Morganville's defenses, student Claire Danvers discovers a way to amplify vampire mental powers. Through this, she's able to re-establish the field around this vampire-infested Texas college town that protects it from outsiders.

But the new upgrades have an unexpected consequence: people inside the town begin to slowly forget who they are-even the vampires. Soon, the town's little memory problem has turned into a full-on epidemic. Now Claire needs to figure out a way to pull the plug on her experiment- before she forgets how to save Morganville...

My Review: After only trying to protect herself, Claire is in deep trouble. Amelie, faced with angry vampires is trying to make things right for everyone. Claire is punished by sentence to work, with no sleep, no breaks, until she gets the machine working again. After it is done, things start to go haywire. Was this fair? Well no, it is not fair. Claire has been helping Morganville since day one and now they want her help even more but without any breaks or sleep. Things went crazy with the people. They were forgetting who they were and they forgot Claire. The end of the book people died and things were put into place but with some odds and ends.

Without the evil vampire Bishop ruling over the town of Morganville, the resident vampires have made major concessions to the human population. With their newfound freedoms, Claire Danvers and her friends are almost starting to feel comfortable again…

Now Claire can actually concentrate on her studies, and her friend Eve joins the local theatre company. But when one of Eve’s castmates goes missing after starting work on a short documentary, Eve suspects the worst. Claire and Eve soon realize that this film project, whose subject is the vampires themselves, is a whole lot bigger—and way more dangerous—than anyone suspected.

My Review: There was alot more of Myrnin in this book. We also get more background on Amelie ans Oliver. Claire's relationship with Shane is put through the ringer. While they work on their relationship they can all start to feel as normal as possible. Claire is back on her studies and Eve has join the local theater. During the film a girl goes missing and Eve thinks of the worst. But what she doesn't know is that her idea is going to be a reality. Overall this book was really good but it was hard in the beginning.

In the college town of Morganville, vampires and humans coexist in (relatively) bloodless harmony. Then comes Bishop, the master vampire who threatens to abolish all order, revive the forces of the evil dead, and let chaos rule. But Bishop isn't the only threat.

Violent black cyclone clouds hover, promising a storm of devastating proportions as student Claire Danvers and her friends prepare to defend Morganville against elements both natural and unnatural.

My Review:
Another good book in the series.  Right now the only safe place is the glass house. There is a war going and people are choosing sides. Humans are going against vampires. . They are scared and know vampires like Amelie and Oliver are even scared of Mr. Bishop. But a storm hits the town and brings it all to a halt and the town must wait another to plan an attack on Bishop. Another good thing about this book is Claire is growing right before our eyes and continues to do so as the books go on.

In the town of Morganville, vampires and humans live in relative peace. Student Claire Danvers has never been convinced, though, especially with the arrival of Mr. Bishop, an ancient, old-school vampire who cares nothing about harmony. What he wants from the town's living and its dead is unthinkably sinister. It's only at a formal ball, attended by vampires and their human dates, that Claire realizes the elaborately evil trap he's set for Morganville.

My Review:
On top of the trouble that is on the way, Claire is deaking with the stress of her parents being in town. She is worried about their safety, but also has to convince them that she isn’t going to move in with them - that she is perfectly capable of staying at the Glass House. Claire still has to work with Myrnin and attend all her classes on top of everything else. The event of the masquerade is here and Claire is in front row. Bishop is there for one reason and will stop at nothing to get what he wants, even if it means declaring war on the humans.

When Claire Danvers learnt that her college town was run by vampires, she did what any intelligent, self-preserving student would do: she applied for a transfer and stocked up on garlic. The transfer is no longer an option, but that garlic may come in handy.

Now Claire has pledged herself to Amelie, the most powerful vampire in town. The protection her contract secures does little to reassure her friends. All of a sudden, people are turning up dead, a stalker resurfaces from Claire’s past, and an ancient bloodsucker extends a chilling invitation for private lessons in his secluded home.

My Review: So Claire signed the paper. How did Shane deal? Well you'll have to read the book. We also meet a new vampire called Myrnin a scholar vampire who will now become Claire's new tutor. (She id not failing) It was Amile who ordered Claire to learn all she can and is introduced to things she never thought possible. Captin Obvious's gang has arrived and Eve's brother also shows up. Things are about to take a turn you won't believe.
