The book also highlights a group of rather eccentric participants who all came together to create one of the fastest growing west coast clothing brands. Each member of the LOLLY team to include peripheral family members is either interviewed or mentioned in the book providing a candid often personal perspective on the evolution of LOLLY Clothing.
Lolly opens with a captivating story of a group of professional fishermen battling an angry discuss investing in a high-end clothing company, LOLLY; thus providing a smart introduction into the extraordinary group of characters in the book.
My Review: So I got this request and wasn't sure how I would like it, but it wasn't bad! It is off from what I usually read, but trying new things can lead to surprising things.
Fishing and fashion, two things you wouldn't really put together. But hey, two brothers had a dream, and then voila, here came LOLLY Clothing! Two guys who were dreaming with the determination to work, and used the help of their family to make it all happen. Great family support, finance set from a source, and everything is on a great start.
It was all written very well, since I have friends who are beauticians and know about fashion. This was a fun read and things can be learned from this book. The inspiration alone in the book, is enough to make anyone give this book a shot.
