Things in life don't always go as planned, especially when it comes to certain life events. That was something Julian and Alexia were learning the hard way. Passing away at a young age was something that had caught Julian off guard. Losing touch with her best friend had left Alexia feeling lonely and confused. Both felt alone in two completely different worlds, not sure if they would ever come across someone they could truly trust and depend on. But then one fateful evening, Julian was given the chance of a lifetime to fill an empty void in someone's life while getting a second chance to live the one he'd lost.
My Review: So I got the first two books from the author and was happy to read something different than what I usually read. Julian and Alexia are two characters that died young and didn't exactly have it easy.
The very start was a little slow, but after about 3 chapters it got me occupied. Also it's not a very long book, but a lot is packed in so it feels like a longer book.
So when you read about Alexia you will love her, but have a hard time figuring out why she doesn't have many friends. Julian is also awesome and makes you think he was real so you could have a friend like him. Just because he was assigned to be with Alexia doesn't mean anything. He was kind and a good friend with Alexia just because, he didn't even need to be asked, he would be kind to anyone.
They soon start to develop a relationship. They act like a couple and care for each other and then you think when they will become official. Maybe later in the book or the next one. It's just something I'd love to see with these two. How often do you get a second chance and mange to find the right person for you in life.
They are perfect and all I can think of is the ways they be together and what they can go out and do, all they have to do is say the word and they can be official.
