The Christmasaurus is a
story about a boy named William Trundle, and a dinosaur, the Christmasaurus.
It's about how they meet one Christmas Eve and have a magical adventure. It's
about friendship and families, sleigh bells and Santa, singing elves and flying
reindeer, music and magic. It's about discovering your heart's true desire, and
learning that the impossible might just be possible.
My Review: LOVE THIS BOOK! Most certainly
another hit from Tom!
Will and his dad both love Christmas,
although his dad may like it a bit more than Will does. They are both amazing
characters, with so much love between them. An amazing bond between them.
Will is in a wheelchair, but I love how that
didn't stop him. Any kid can do anything they believe in. Even if that means
believing in dinosaurs. Yep, all Will wanted was a dinosaur for Christmas. He
wasn't expecting the elves to dig up a real dino egg and having it somehow
appear at his house. But when Will got that egg and found his dino is real,
that when the magic happens.
This book is filled with so much more than a
Christmas theme. It's full of wonder and magic and everything in between. The
perfect book to read aloud, alone, or even with your kids. Simply a good feel
book!
