Death is the inevitable fate of every single person on earth. How do we accept the inevitability of our own death? How do we live our lives with meaning? Will money lead us to happiness? Satish Modi examines these questions and more in a moving, powerful, thought-provoking work based on his own reflections as well as the experiences of people from all walks of life. The result is a fascinating book that teaches us that whoever we are and whatever our aspirations in this life, it is important for each and every one of us to accept our own passing. In doing so, we free ourselves to live as fully as possible, guided by the principles of goodness, love, and compassion.
My Review: First off the book is really pretty in person and well thats always a good bonus.
I loved the authors take on things that go on in life. It wasn't anything crazy or dramatic. But straight forward and well pretty inspirational.
The author talks about death in a different way, in way that you don't fear it and have a new view on it. You find a way to accept it, and see life in different ways. Ways that can better improve life, or maybe you already knew some of these things.
Like in the blurb, "Will money lead us to happiness?", I wanted to see if the author had gone more into that. Since I don't think money makes you happy. The idea of money, maybe, but the actually money just buys us things and pay bills. I can so go on for hours about this, but then I wouldn't be talking about the book anymore.
Anyway, I have heard about a number of ways to see life in a different way, and I liked the new ideas that author wrote about. He has a really good way of writing and bring up these points in a perfect way. I would read other things by him.
