My Review: So I thought this book sounded interesting and that I would at least like it. Then I started to read the book and really liked it!
So Mel thinks she has a boring life. Each day goes on about the same way and nothing interesting really happens. Then she bumps into Selestia who is royal and a guardian. Mel doesn't know very much because she isnt allowed to read about him in the papers. Then later she meets Leo another guardian. So today doesnt seem so boring anymore, now does it?
It gets crazy when Leo picks Mel to be his wife and she must now learn the ways of the guardians! Okay I thought that part was a bit fast, but still written well. So then off to the tower they go and Mel is fine, while her father isn't. No matter how hard he may try, he will have accept what has happened and let things be.
Of course things wont be easy and thats okay. Mel is strong and will always say what she thinks/feels, which is great. Shows just how strong Mel is, even if it doesn't seem that way all the time. Mel is a really great character and I loved watching all she goes through. The story was written so much better than I had thought and I'm glad I got to read this book and I can't wait to be reading more from this author.
