From acclaimed author Katie McGarry comes an explosive new tale of a good girl with a reckless streak, a street-smart guy with nothing to lose, and a romance forged in the fast lane

The girl with straight As, designer clothes and the perfect life-that's who people expect Rachel Young to be. So the private-school junior keeps secrets from her wealthy parents and overbearing brothers...and she's just added two more to the list. One involves racing strangers down dark country roads in her Mustang GT. The other? Seventeen-year-old Isaiah Walker-a guy she has no business even talking to. But when the foster kid with the tattoos and intense gray eyes comes to her rescue, she can't get him out of her mind.

Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look.

But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover just how far they'll go to save each other.

My Review:  Katie has come out with book three! This time we follow Isaiah and Rachel. I'm happy Isaiah finally got his turn and found a girl to love, just like his friends.  Plus Isaiah had a lot of hard times and reading his story and getting to go deeper into his life, just made this book even more heartfelt.

Isaiah is this great guy who is about to finish school, get to have his dream job of working on cars, and he has some great friends. He also has his past. Watching the girl he loved go be with someone else, and doesn't exactly want a friendship or much to do with her. Social worker getting him to meet his mom isnt going perfect either. He doesn't want anything to do with her, but they are trying to  get Isaiah to talk to her and hear her out. His mom really wants to try and fix things, but Isaiah is just done.

Then Rachel came along. She is this girl who just loves all things cars and has a pretty good life. Getting good grades and having shopping and spa sprees with her mom every year. Sounds like a good life right? Well Rachel has her own past. She had a sister, who died at a young age because of an illness. Everyone in her family puts this pressure on her to be nice for her mom and do things with her. Almost as if she was meant to replace her sister, except they talk about her more than they do Rachel. She has all this weight on her shoulders and she goes out for drives. Driving makes her feel better and she drives very often.

How these two came to be together.....Rachel goes to race. The guy in charge is well.....a great asshole to girls and the cops have been trying to nail him for years. So Isaiah is there and notices Rachel. The way she looks and her love for cars instantly gets his attention, Watching her during the race is a massive plus.

Race over. Cops notice and start coming. Isaiah takes Rachel and helps her escape from the cops and back to his place. They talk and well the sparks fly and before you know it, they are together and going through things together. Overcoming money and race issues, these two are beautiful together and I'm happy Isaiah got his girl and that Rachel is happy with someone. They are meant for each other and I can't wait to read the next couple coming up.
